- 12 walnut kernels
- 2 tsp powdered sugar
- 12 ripe figs
- 100 g blue cheese
- 80 g plain cream cheese
- Salt
- ground pepper

Lightly toast the walnuts in a dry pan, sprinkle with powdered sugar, let caramelize, place on parchment paper and allow to dry.

Wash the figs, cut crosswise (not all the way through) and fan them into a flower shape. Dice the blue cheese and mix well with the cream cheese. Season the cheese mixture with salt and pepper. Using a piping bag (or a small nozzle), pipe the cream into the center of each fig. Arrange the fig flowers on plates, garnish each with a caramelized walnut half, and serve.
