Ingredients

  • 250 g field salad
  • 60 g walnut kernels
  • 150 g through-cut bacon (in strips)
  • 3 tbsp white wine vinegar
  • 1 tbsp Lemon Juice
  • 1 tsp sharp mustard
  • 6 tbsp walnut oil
  • Salt
  • pepper (from grinder)

Instructions

    Wash, trim and drain the salad well. Roughly chop the walnuts, heat them in a pan without fat for 1 minute while stirring, then set aside. Fry the bacon in a pan without fat until crisp; let it drain on kitchen paper.

    Whisk together the vinegar, lemon juice, mustard and oil; season with salt and pepper.

    Add the vinaigrette, walnuts and bacon to the salad, toss gently, and serve arranged in bowls.
