Ingredients

  • 250 g field salad (field lettuce)
  • 50 g walnut kernels
  • 125 g thick-cut bacon strips
  • 2 tbsp white wine vinegar
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice
  • 0.5 tsp medium-hot mustard
  • 6 tbsp walnut oil
  • Salt
  • ground pepper

Instructions

    Wash the salad thoroughly several times and drain well.

    Coarsely chop the walnuts, heat them in a dry pan for 1 minute while stirring, then set aside.

    Crisp the bacon strips in a dry pan until golden brown.

    Whisk together vinegar, lemon juice, and mustard; whisk in the oil and season with salt and pepper.
