Fan‑Cut Potatoes

Ingredients

  • 12 medium waxy potatoes
  • Salt
  • 60 g melted butter
  • Pepper (freshly ground)
  • 4 Tbsp breadcrumbs

Instructions

    Preheat the oven to 225 °C (fan‑forced 200 °C; gas: level 3–4).

    Peel and wash the potatoes, cut 3–4 deep fan‑shaped slits into each, and place them in a baking dish. Drizzle with half of the butter, season with salt, and bake in the preheated oven for about 25 minutes.

    Season with pepper, sprinkle with breadcrumbs, drizzle with the remaining butter, and bake for an additional 5–8 minutes. Remove the fan‑cut potatoes from the oven and serve immediately.
