Ingredients
- 3 handfuls elderflowers
- 400 g sugar
- 2 lemons
Instructions

Wash and dry elderflowers, then shake them lightly. Rinse lemons hot and slice into rounds.

Slowly bring 2 l water to a gentle boil while stirring in the sugar until dissolved.

Add elderflowers and lemon slices; simmer for 1–2 minutes. Transfer everything to a large jar, let cool, then seal with plastic wrap and let steep for 2–3 weeks in a cool, dark place.

Strain the liquid into bottles, seal them. Dilute with cold (mineral) water to taste before drinking.
