Ingredients
- 500 g yellow fig
- 1 Vanilla bean
- 1 kg sugar
- 250 ml white wine vinegar

Grate the figs. Split the vanilla bean lengthwise. In a pot bring 2 l water with the sugar, vinegar and vanilla bean to a boil. Reduce the liquid by half.

Place the figs in a prepared canning jar, pour over the liquid, seal the jar tightly and store at a cool place.
