Currywurst with French Fries
A classic that always hits the mark and is quick to make: Try the curry sausage with French fries from Spoonsparrow!
Ingredients
- 800 g potatoes
- 1.2 l oil
- 4 veal bratwurst sausages
- curry powder
- ketchup
- Salt
- 1 tbsp plant oil

Peel the potatoes and cut them into sticks about 6 cm long. Wash and pat dry with a cloth.

Heat the oil to 175°C, fry half of the potato sticks for about 4 minutes. Fry the other half similarly beforehand.

Increase the frying fat to 190°C and cook the French fries in it for a few minutes until golden brown and crisp. Transfer to a bowl and season with salt.

Brown the veal bratwurst sausages in a little oil in a pan on all sides. Cut the cooked sausages into pieces. Distribute the French fries onto four plates (or paper bowls) and arrange the sausage pieces on top. Drizzle each sausage piece with about 4 tbsp ketchup and sprinkle generously with curry powder. Serve immediately.
