- 1 whole chicken (ca. 1.7 kg)
- 2 untreated lemons
- 2 stalks sage
- 2 stalks thyme
- 2 stalks rosemary
- 8 tbsp olive oil
- Salt
- Pepper (freshly ground)
- 500 g waxy potatoes
- fat (for the roasting pan)
- 2 stalks sage

Wash and pat dry the chicken. Rinse the lemons hot, quarter them and stuff the chicken with the lemon quarters. Wash the herbs, shake dry, pluck the leaves and finely chop them. Mix with the oil, season with salt and pepper, and rub the mixture all over the chicken. Thoroughly wash the potatoes, cut into wedges and mix with the remaining marinade.
