Ingredients

  • 400 g flour
  • 0.5 cube fresh yeast (21 g)
  • 180 ml milk
  • 40 g sugar
  • 75 g butter
  • 500 g sour cream
  • 250 g low-fat quark
  • 150 g sugar
  • 1 packet vanilla sugar
  • 3 eggs
  • 3 tbsp Lemon juice
  • 1 tsp lemon zest
  • 4 eggs
  • 150 g sugar
  • 175 g butter
  • 3 tbsp Flour
  • flour (for working)
  • butter (for the sheet)
  • 800 g cherries (jar, drained)
  • 5 tbsp almond sticks

Instructions

    Put all ingredients for the yeast dough into a bowl, knead with dough hooks until smooth, cover with a kitchen towel and let rise in a warm place for about 60 minutes until doubled in volume.

    Preheat the oven to 200°C fan.

    Meanwhile wash and pit the cherries.

    For the sour cream topping mix all ingredients in a bowl and whisk together.

    For the second topping beat the eggs with sugar until fluffy, melt butter, let cool slightly and fold in. Whisk in flour. Roll out the yeast dough on a floured surface to sheet size. Grease the baking tray with butter, place the dough, form an edge and spread the sour cream topping. Distribute cherries on top and finish with the egg-butter mixture. Finally sprinkle almonds and bake in the preheated oven for about 45 minutes. Cool and cut into pieces before serving.
