Crab Salad with Garlic

A finely seasoned crab salad brightened by chili peppers and perfect for a low-carb diet.

Ingredients

  • 5 cloves garlic
  • 2 chilies
  • 400 g cooked crab meat (canned or vacuum-packed)
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • 3 tbsp olive oil

Instructions

    Peel the garlic. Finely chop 2 cloves and slice the remaining 3 into thin rounds. Wash, halve, seed, and finely chop the chilies. Drain the crab meat, pat dry with paper towels, finely chop, season with salt and pepper, then mix with chili, 2 tbsp oil, and chopped garlic.

    Arrange in small serving molds, press down lightly, and let rest for 1 hour. Heat 1 tbsp oil in a pan and crisp the garlic slices until golden. Remove the crab salad from the molds and top with the crispy garlic slices before serving.
