- 300 g cornflakes (ready-made)
- 1 untreated lemon
- 4 apples (e.g., Granny Smith)
- 1 orange
- 2 tbsp honey
- 3 egg whites
- 120 g powdered sugar

Cut a circular piece of aluminum foil (~26 cm diameter) and place it on a large plate. Distribute the cornflakes over it. Wash the lemon hot, dry, grate the zest, and squeeze out the juice. Peel the apples, quarter them, remove cores, and cut into strips. Immediately mix with the lemon juice in a bowl. Fillet the orange and combine the segments with honey, then add to the apple strips. Spread the apple mixture over the cornflakes.

Beat the egg whites until stiff peaks form, then slowly fold in powdered sugar and lemon zest. Spread the meringue over the apple strips and bake under the oven grill for about 5 minutes until golden brown tips appear, or flame with a blowtorch.
