Colorful Mashed Potatoes

Ingredients
- 1 kg starchy potatoes
- 400 ml milk
- 3 tbsp butter
- Salt
- Pepper (freshly ground)
- nutmeg
- 300 g broccoli (or 300 g frozen, heated spinach puree)
- 150 g diced tomatoes
- 1 tbsp Tomato Paste
- 500 g carrots or pumpkin
- 300 g onions
- 2 tbsp smoked bacon cubes
Instructions

Peel the potatoes and cook them in salted water for about 25 minutes. Drain, let steam off slightly, then mash with a potato masher.

Pour heated milk over the mashed potatoes and whisk vigorously, adding butter as you go. Season with nutmeg, pepper, and salt to taste.
