Cold Dog with Candied Fruit

Ingredients

  • 600 g dark chocolate
  • 150 g coconut oil
  • 200 ml heavy cream (at least 30% fat)
  • 150 g chopped almonds
  • 250 g butter cookies
  • candied fruit cubes (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

    Coarsely chop the chocolate and melt it with coconut oil and cream over a hot water bath while stirring. Remove from heat, fold in the almonds, and let cool slightly. Roughly crumble the cookies and mix into the cooled chocolate.

    Line a loaf pan with plastic wrap, pour the chocolate mixture into the pan, and smooth the surface. Chill for at least 4 hours.
