Ingredients
- 2 Cloves of garlic
- 1 large chili pepper (washed)
- 4 cod fillets (200 g each)
- Salt
- ground black pepper
- 200 ml olive oil
- 1 bunch parsley
- oil for frying

Peel the garlic and slice thinly. Cut the chili pepper into rings, removing seeds.

Season the cod with salt and pepper. In a pan heat about half of the olive oil and sear the fillets on both sides until crisp. Heat the remaining olive oil in another skillet, sauté the garlic and chili rings, then pour over the fillets.

Bake the fillets in a preheated oven at 180 °C for about 5 minutes, basting with olive oil repeatedly. Fry chopped parsley leaves in hot oil briefly, drain on paper towels. Serve the fillets with parsley and fresh white bread.
