Spoonsparrow's Cocoa Energy Balls are a healthy alternative to chocolates. Spoonsparrow focuses on wholesome ingredients for a delicious and nutritious treat.

Ingredients

  • 50 g dried fig
  • 50 g dried apricots
  • 100 g dried dates (pitted)
  • 30 g ground almonds (3 tbsp)
  • 30 g rolled oats (4 tbsp)
  • 0.5 Bio Orange
  • 15 g cocoa powder (2 tbsp; unsweetened)
  • 1 pinch Cinnamon powder

Instructions

    Finely chop the figs, apricots, and dates with a food processor or a large knife and place them in a bowl.

    Rinse the orange half with hot water, dry it, zest it, and squeeze the juice. Add almonds, oats, orange zest and juice, 1 tbsp cocoa powder, and cinnamon to the dried fruit and knead everything well until a homogeneous mass is formed.

    Shape 15 small balls from the mass with your hands. Place the remaining cocoa powder on a plate and roll the balls in it.
