Ingredients
- 250 g butter
- 5 eggs
- 1 tsp lemon zest
- 200 g sugar
- 1 packet vanilla sugar
- 6 tbsp milk
- 500 g flour
- 1 packet baking powder

- 2 tbsp powdered sugar (for dusting)

Preheat the oven to 200°C with upper and lower heat. Cream the butter, then gradually fold in the eggs, lemon zest, sugar, vanilla sugar, and milk.

Sift the flour with baking powder over the mixture and gently fold it in.

Pour the batter into a greased and floured Gugelhupf mold, spread evenly, and bake for 45-50 minutes until golden brown (check with a toothpick). Cover promptly with foil to prevent excessive darkening of the surface.

Remove the finished cake from the oven, let it rest briefly, carefully unmold, and allow it to cool completely. Dust with powdered sugar before serving.
