The Citrus Turmeric Punch from Spoonsparrow delivers a concentrated dose of Vitamin C in a glass.
Ingredients
- 10 g turmeric (whole)
- 2 oranges
- 0.5 lemon
- 500 ml blood orange juice
- 100 ml apple juice
- 1 cinnamon stick
- 1 star anise
- 2 cloves
- 2 tbsp honey
Instructions

Peel turmeric with a teaspoon and grate it very finely. Halve the oranges and squeeze their juice. Squeeze the juice from half a lemon as well.

Add turmeric, orange, lemon, blood orange, and apple juices to a pot along with the spices. Warm everything over medium heat and let it steep covered for about 10 minutes, but do not bring to a boil.

Sweeten the citrus-turmeric punch with honey, strain through a sieve into handle glasses, and serve.
