Ingredients
- 300 g mascarpone
- 200 g quark
- 4 tbsp heavy cream
- 2 packets vanilla sugar
- 250 ml red wine
- 1 stick cinnamon
- 2 cloves
- 2 tbsp sugar
- 200 g Gingerbread (with chocolate coating)
- 1 tbsp cocoa powder

Whisk mascarpone, quark, cream and vanilla sugar until smooth.

Bring red wine with cinnamon, cloves and sugar to a boil in a small pot, then reduce by about half. Cut gingerbread into strips, place them in a shallow dish, pour the wine over and mix well.

Layer alternating gingerbread and mascarpone cream in a rectangular pan (about 16 x 25 cm), starting with gingerbread and ending with cream. Seal the pan with plastic wrap and refrigerate for about 6 hours or overnight to set.

Sprinkle cocoa powder before serving.
