Ingredients
- 125 g soft butter
- 125 g sugar
- 3 eggs
- 120 g flour
- 1 tsp Baking powder
- 50 g ground almonds
- butter (for the waffle iron)
- 150 g dark chocolate couverture
- 2 Tbsp whipping cream
- whipping cream (optional)
- powdered sugar (for dusting)
Instructions

Cream the butter with the sugar. Gradually add the eggs and beat until frothy. Mix in the flour, baking powder, and almonds, then fold into the batter.

Grease the waffle iron with a little butter, pour a small ladleful of batter into each section, and cook until golden brown.

Chop the chocolate roughly and melt it over a double boiler with the cream.

Serve the waffles drizzled with chocolate sauce and topped with whipped cream if desired, dusted with powdered sugar.
