Chocolate Tart

The chocolate tart from Spoonsparrow consists of only two ingredients, contains no flour and is always a hit.

Ingredients

  • 4 eggs
  • 500 g Dark chocolate (at least 70% cocoa content)
  • 50 g Berries
  • 1 Mint sprig

Instructions

    Separate the eggs and whisk the yolks until frothy.

  2. 2.

    Chop the chocolate and melt it in a water bath or in intervals in the microwave. Meanwhile, beat the egg whites until stiff.

    Let the melted chocolate cool slightly and mix it with the egg yolks.

  4. 4.

    Then gently fold the chocolate mass into the whipped egg whites.

  5. 5.

    Pour the dough into a greased tart pan and bake in a preheated oven at 180 °C (160 °C convection; Gas: level 2–3) for 25 minutes.

    Remove the chocolate tart from the oven, let it cool completely and garnish with fresh berries and a sprig of mint.
