Ingredients

  • 125 g nuts (optional, roughly chopped)
  • 6 small beautiful apples
  • 200 g dark couverture chocolate
  • 6 longer wooden sticks

Instructions

  1. 1.

Lightly toast the nuts in a dry pan without fat, then transfer them to a deep dish.

  2. 2.

Wash and dry the apples, then insert a longer wooden stick into each one.

  3. 3.

Place the chopped couverture chocolate in a small metal mixing bowl and melt it over a hot water bath, stirring occasionally; remove from heat and dip the apples one by one into the chocolate, coating them thinly and evenly.

  4. 4.

After coating, place the apples onto the chopped nuts, rotating them and pressing the nuts slightly against each apple to dry.
