Chicken wraps with romaine lettuce from Spoonsparrow taste not only for dinner!

Ingredients

  • 1 small romaine lettuce
  • 500 g chicken breast fillet (ready to cook, skinless)
  • olive oil
  • Salt
  • pepper (ground)
  • 4 Tbsp mayonnaise
  • 3 tbsp Plain yogurt
  • Lemon juice
  • 4 pre‑made wraps
  • 6 tbsp freshly grated parmesan

Instructions

    Wash and tear the lettuce, separate the leaves and cut into thin strips. Wash the chicken, pat dry, cut into thin strips and sear in a hot pan with oil until browned all around. Season with salt and pepper, remove from heat, set aside to cool slightly. For the salad dressing whisk mayonnaise with yogurt, season with salt and pepper, then add lemon juice; optionally fold in fresh chopped herbs.

    Warm the wraps briefly in a hot pan without adding fat, do not fry. Place the lettuce and chicken strips in the center of each wrap, sprinkle parmesan, drizzle with the dressing. Fold the opposite sides toward the middle, roll up, and cut crosswise in half. Arrange on plates and serve.
