Ingredients

  • 4 chicken breast fillets (about 140 g)
  • 4 stalks of celery
  • 500 g waxy potatoes
  • 1 vegetable onion
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt
  • Pepper (freshly ground)
  • 1 tbsp corn flour
  • 250 ml milk
  • 500 ml poultry broth

    Wash, pat dry and cube the breasts. Wash, trim and cut the celery into pieces. Peel and slice the potatoes into strips. Peel and roughly dice the onion. Brown the chicken in hot oil. Add the celery and onion and sauté for 1-2 minutes. Season with salt, pepper and dust with flour.

    Add the potatoes and deglaze with milk and broth. Simmer gently for about 15 minutes, stirring occasionally. If needed add more broth. Finish by seasoning with salt and pepper and serve with bread if desired.
