Ingredients

  • 400 g chicken breast fillet
  • 1 Garlic clove
  • 7 tbsp oil
  • 3 tbsp Lemon juice
  • 1 tsp mild curry powder
  • 2 bell peppers (one red, one yellow)
  • 1 small zucchini
  • 2 small onions
  • 6 thin slices of smoked bacon
  • Salt
  • black pepper

Instructions

  1. 1.

Cut the chicken into 12 equal bite‑sized pieces. Peel the garlic and press it into a bowl. Add 4 tbsp oil, lemon juice, and curry; whisk well. Toss the chicken in the mixture, cover, and marinate for 1 hour.

  2. 2.

Wash, trim, and slice the zucchini. Wash, trim, halve, seed, remove membranes, and cut the bell peppers into bite‑sized pieces. Peel the onions and cut them lengthwise into eighths.

  3. 3.

Remove the chicken from the marinate, let it drain, and pat dry with kitchen paper. Wrap each piece of chicken in half a bacon slice. Skewer alternating pieces of chicken and vegetables, seasoning with salt and pepper.

  4. 4.

Pan‑fry the skewers in the remaining oil for about 8–10 minutes, turning and brushing with the leftover marinade until golden and crispy.
