Ingredients

  • 1 chicken
  • 4 pretzels (from yesterday)
  • 50 g Raisins
  • 1 Shallot
  • 250 ml milk
  • 1 egg
  • 2 tbsp chopped parsley
  • 1 tbsp sweet paprika powder
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tsp Honey
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • Salt
  • ground pepper

Instructions

    Wash and pat the chicken dry.

    Cut the pretzels into pieces. Pour hot milk over them, mix in raisins, and let sit for about 15 minutes.

    Peel and chop the shallot; combine with egg and parsley, then stir into the pretzel mixture. Season with salt and pepper, and stuff the chicken with this filling. Secure with toothpicks or sew with a thread if needed.

    Whisk paprika, lemon juice, honey, and oil together; season with salt and pepper, then brush over the stuffed chicken.

    Place on parchment paper, fold the paper over the chicken to seal tightly. Bake in a preheated oven at 200°C for about 70-80 minutes.

    Remove from paper, discard toothpicks or thread, and serve.
