Ingredients

  • 600 g radicchio
  • Salt
  • 2 ripe pears (e.g., Williams Christ)
  • 150 g Gorgonzola
  • fat (for greasing the pan)
  • pepper (ground)
  • 2 tbsp olive oil

Instructions

    Clean the radicchio, wash if necessary, cut into wedges, remove tough stems and blanch in boiling salted water for 1-2 minutes. Drain and let dry.

    Wash the pears, quarter them, remove the core and slice the flesh into strips.

    Dice the Gorgonzola. Place the radicchio in a greased baking dish, season with salt and pepper, top with pear slices, drizzle with olive oil, and sprinkle with Gorgonzola. Bake for about 15 minutes at a preheated oven until gratinated. Remove and serve immediately.
