Ingredients
- 1 chicken
- 1 onion
- 2 Garlic cloves
- 1 green bell pepper
- 1 red bell pepper
- 1 tbsp Tomato Paste
- 1 tbsp sweet paprika powder
- 400 g diced tomatoes (canned)
- 100 ml red wine
- 150 ml poultry stock
- 2 oregano sprigs
- Salt
- black pepper (freshly ground)
Instructions

Wash the chicken, pat dry and cut into pieces.

Peel and dice the onion and garlic cloves.

Wash the bell peppers, halve them, remove seeds and slice into strips.

Brown the chicken in hot oil until golden brown. Remove from pan, then sauté garlic, onion and pepper in the same pan, stir in tomato paste and paprika, deglaze with red wine. Reduce slightly and add tomatoes. Pour in stock and return the meat. Add oregano sprigs, cover and simmer on low heat for about 30 minutes, turning the meat several times and stirring the sauce. Finally reduce further if desired or add more stock. Season with salt and pepper and serve.
