Chicken Breast with Mushrooms

- 2 chicken breast fillets
- Salt
- Pepper (freshly ground)
- 1 vegetable onion
- 250 g small button mushrooms
- 3 tbsp butter
- 250 ml instant chicken broth
- dark sauce thickener
- 300 g Sugar snap peas

Wash the chicken breast fillets with salt and pepper and brown them in a pan with 1 tbsp hot clarified butter for about 5 minutes on each side.

Peel the onion and cut it into rings. Clean the mushrooms and slice them into approximately 0.5 cm thick pieces.

Heat the remaining clarified butter in another pan, sauté the onions until translucent, then add the mushrooms and cook for 2–3 minutes while stirring. Add the broth, thicken with sauce thickener according to package instructions, and season with salt and pepper. Simultaneously boil the sugar snap peas in salted water for about 4 minutes.

Plate the chicken breast fillets with the mushroom sauce and sugar snap peas and serve.
