Ingredients

  • 2 whole chickens (≈1 kg each)
  • Salt
  • black pepper (freshly ground)
  • 4 sprigs Parsley
  • 80 g Butter
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 1 tbsp paprika powder (spicy)

Instructions

    Preheat the oven to 180°C (356°F) with upper/lower heat.

    Wash and pat the chickens dry. Season the inside with salt and pepper. Wash the parsley, shake off excess water, and place it in the cavity of each chicken.

    Melt the butter with honey in a small saucepan. Mix in paprika powder, salt, and pepper, then brush this seasoning all over the chickens.

    Place the chickens breast-side up on a rack, slide the fat pan underneath. Roast on the middle rack for 50-60 minutes, basting occasionally with the seasoned butter.
