The cheese hedgehogs make children eager for healthy food: here they contain vitamin A-rich carrots and filling fiber.

Ingredients

  • 20 g Pumpernickel crackers (2 crackers)
  • 0.5 tsp tomato paste
  • 80 g cucumber (1 piece)
  • 20 g cheese (1 small round slice)
  • 50 g carrots (0.5 carrot)
  • 4 pumpkin seeds

Instructions

  1. 1.

Spread the tomato paste on the Pumpernickel crackers.

  2. 2.

Peel the cucumber, cut into 2 thick slices and place them on the crackers.

  3. 3.

Cut the mini cheese horizontally in half and lay it on the crackers as the "hedgehog body."

  4. 4.

Wash and peel the carrot. Trim off the round ends and slice the remainder first thinly, then into thin sticks about 2 cm long.

  5. 5.

Insert the sticks into the cheese as "spines," leaving a small corner free for the "eyes."

  6. 6.

Press two pumpkin seeds deep into the cheese as "eyes." Arrange the cheese hedgehogs on a plate and serve.
