Ingredients
- 3 Garlic cloves
- 475 ml dry white wine
- 400 g Emmental cheese
- 400 g Edam cheese
- 10 g starch
- 50 ml cherry brandy
- Salt
- ground pepper
- 1 tsp Paprika powder (sweet)
- a handful mixed herbs (e.g., parsley, basil, dill)
- 1 baguette
Instructions

Peel the garlic cloves, halve one and rub the fondue pot with it; then slice the others thinly and add to the pot.

Pour in the wine and heat. While it warms, grate the cheeses, add them to the wine, and melt over medium heat while stirring constantly.

Whisk the starch with a little cherry brandy until smooth, fold into the cheese mixture, and allow it to thicken once. Season with salt, pepper, and paprika. Wash the herbs, dry, finely chop, and stir into the fondue. Cut the baguette into cubes.
