Ingredients
- 1 Garlic clove
- 400 ml dry white wine
- 350 g Emmental
- 350 g Gruyere cheese
- 15 g starch
- 40 ml cherry brandy
- Salt
- Pepper
- a pinch nutmeg
Instructions

Prepare the fondue pot by lightly crushing the garlic clove, halving it and rubbing the pot with it.

Heat the wine in the pot, grate the cheeses, add them to the wine and stir constantly over medium heat until a smooth cream forms.

Whisk the starch with the cherry brandy until smooth, fold into the cheese mixture and let it bubble once. Season with salt, pepper and nutmeg.

Place the pot on a burner set to low heat. Serve with gray or white bread cubes for dipping as desired.
