Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp sunflower oil (or corn oil)
  • 100 g breakfast bacon (diced)
  • 1 onion (peeled and finely chopped)
  • 750 g cabbage (washed and sliced into strips)
  • 100 ml broth
  • 2 tbsp Soy sauce
  • 1 Tbsp starch
  • 1 tbsp parsley (finely chopped)
  • Salt
  • Pepper

Instructions

    Heat oil in a pot and render the bacon. Add cabbage and sauté over medium heat, turning regularly for 5 minutes; do not brown the cabbage.

    Pour in broth and soy sauce, bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer covered until the cabbage is tender. Whisk starch with water and stir into the broth to thicken.

    Season with salt and pepper, sprinkle parsley on top.
