Buffalo Steaks

Ingredients
- 4 buffalo steaks (about 300 g each)
- 30 g ginger
- 1 Garlic clove
- 2 Spring Onions
- 4 tbsp sesame oil
- 4 tbsp teriyaki sauce (Asian market)
- 50 ml meat broth
- pepper (ground)
- Salt

Rinse the buffalo steaks and pat them dry. Peel the ginger and garlic. Grate the ginger finely, press out the garlic. Wash, trim, and slice the spring onions into thin rings. Whisk together the oil, teriyaki sauce, and meat broth. Stir in the grated ginger, pressed garlic, and onion rings; season with pepper. Brush the steaks with the mixture and marinate covered in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours, preferably overnight.

Remove the steaks from the marinade and pour any remaining liquid into a small bowl. Grill each side of the steaks over high heat for about 2 minutes to sear. Then set aside and grill further 4–6 minutes depending on desired doneness, sprinkling a little salt during cooking.

Serve by slicing the meat and offering the leftover sauce on the side.
