  • 8 slices whole grain bread
  • 200 g Brie cheese
  • 4 ripe figs
  • thyme (for garnish)
  • 100 ml fruity red wine
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • Salt
  • 1 clove of mace
  • 1 pinch ground allspice
  • Pepper (ground freshly)

    Toast the bread to your liking. Slice the Brie and place on the toast. Spread onion chutney over the cheese. Wash the figs, pat dry, halve them, and cut each half into three strips. Arrange three fig strips on a slice of bread and garnish with thyme.
