Ingredients

  • 2 hard boiled eggs
  • 2 pickles
  • 1 tbsp capers
  • 3 tbsp freshly chopped parsley
  • 50 g mayonnaise
  • 200 g Sour Cream
  • 1 tbsp Lemon Juice
  • Salt
  • Pepper (freshly ground)
  • 4 lettuce heads
  • 2 Eggs
  • Salt
  • Pepper (freshly ground)
  • paprika powder (sweet)
  • 100 g flour
  • 150 g breadcrumbs
  • vegetable oil (for frying)

Instructions

    For the sauce, peel and chop the eggs. Finely chop the pickles and capers. Mix both with the egg, parsley, and mayonnaise into the sour cream. Season with lemon juice, salt, and pepper.

    Rinse the lettuce whole and pat dry thoroughly. Cut it as close to the stem as possible into pieces or slices. Beat the eggs in a shallow dish with salt, pepper, and paprika. Sprinkle flour and breadcrumbs each into separate shallow dishes. First coat the lettuce in flour, tap off excess, then dip in egg, and finally coat with breadcrumbs. Fry in hot oil until golden brown. Drain on paper towels and serve with the sauce.
