Ingredients

  • 150 g white turnip
  • 150 g mostly firm potatoes
  • 4 tbsp soy oil
  • 50 g sugar snap peas
  • 4 Thuringian bratwursts
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • 8 radishes
  • 1 tbsp Lemon Juice
  • 1 tbsp White Wine Vinegar
  • 4 slices country bread

Instructions

    Clean, wash and slice the turnips into 1-2 mm thick rounds. Peel, wash the potatoes and slice them thinly as well. Heat the oil in a non-stick pan and fry the potato slices, turning occasionally for about 10 minutes. Add the turnip slices and fry together, turning occasionally.

    Wash the sugar snap peas, trim the ends and cut them diagonally into 3 cm long pieces. Slice the bratwursts into 1 cm thick rounds. Add the snap peas and bratwurst slices to the pan and cook until the sausages have some color. Season with salt and pepper.

    Transfer from the pan to a bowl and let it cool slightly. Wash, clean and finely slice the radishes, then fold them in. Drizzle with lemon juice and vinegar and taste. Serve with toasted bread slices.
