Ingredients

  • 1 kg pre-cooked cod fillets (whole or split)
  • lemon juice (from 1 lemon)
  • 2 l water
  • 75 g frozen mixed vegetable mix
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 10 peppercorns
  • 3 Cloves
  • 5 allspice berries
  • 1 medium peeled onion
  • 2 tbsp salt
  • 6 tbsp vinegar

Instructions

    Rinse cod under running cold water, pat dry and drizzle with juice from 1 lemon; let stand for about 30 minutes.

    Bring 2 l water with remaining ingredients to a boil. After 5 minutes of cooking time add fish, bring back to boil and simmer for 25-30 minutes until cooked through.

    Arrange the cooked fish on a preheated plate.
