Bites with Stuffed Roast Beef Rolls

Ingredients

  • 2 EL cream cheese
  • 2 TL horseradish
  • 2 TL lemon juice
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • 150 g cold roast beef (2 thin slices)
  • 2 carrots
  • arugula
  • 2 slices whole grain bread
  • 8 physalis
  • toothpicks

Instructions

    Mix the cream cheese with horseradish, lemon juice, salt and pepper; spread onto the roast beef slices.

    Wash, peel and cut the carrot into sticks. Wash the arugula, shake dry, remove tough stems. Top the roast beef slices with arugula and carrot sticks, roll up and halve them.

    Quarter the bread slices, place a half roll on each quarter, secure with a toothpick, garnish with physalis and serve.
