Ingredients

  • 1 tbsp Olive Oil
  • 4 yellow bell peppers
  • 1 Garlic clove
  • 1 Shallot
  • 50 g black olives
  • 2 anchovies
  • 4 capers
  • 1 tsp Dried oregano
  • 1 egg
  • 300 g mixed ground meat
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • 2 slices stale white bread

Instructions

    Preheat the oven to 180°C (356°F) with fan and top heat. Lightly oil a baking dish.

    Wash the bell peppers, cut off a lid from each, and clean them. Peel and finely dice the garlic and shallot. Pat dry the olives, anchovies, and capers, then finely chop them. Mix everything with the garlic, shallot, oregano, egg, and ground meat in a bowl. Season with salt and pepper and fill the peppers. Place them in the baking dish.

    Remove crusts from the bread and finely crush it using a food processor. Sprinkle over the filling and drizzle with a little oil. Place the lids on top and brush them with oil as well. Bake in the oven for about 40 minutes until golden brown.
