Beef Roast in a Roman Pot

Ingredients

  • 1 kg beef roast
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Sweet Paprika Powder
  • 1 tbsp Olive Oil
  • 250 g Potatoes
  • 2 onions
  • 250 g celery root
  • 2 Tomatoes
  • 4 sprigs Parsley
  • 1 sprig rosemary
  • 2 tbsp butter

Instructions

    Soak the Roman pot. Rinse and pat the meat dry, season with salt, pepper, and paprika, then rub with oil. Place in the Roman pot.

    Wash and peel potatoes. Peel and halve onions. Clean, wash, and cut celery root into small pieces. Quarter tomatoes. Wash parsley, shake off excess water, and roughly chop. Arrange all around the meat in the Roman pot. Add rosemary. Melt butter and pour over the meat and vegetables.
