Beef Minute Steaks
Spoonsparrow Beef Minute Steaks are a great dish from the quick 5-ingredient kitchen that will surely delight guests.
Ingredients
- 750 g parsnips
- Salt
- 2 Bay leaves
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tbsp honey
- 100 ml apple juice
- Pepper
- 250 g whole wheat penne
- 2 tbsp Rapeseed oil
- 4 beef minute steaks (about 100 g each)
Instructions

Clean, wash and cut the parsnips lengthwise in halves or quarters. Boil them in salted water with the bay leaves for about 7 minutes until firm.

Heat olive oil in a pan. Sauté the parsnips over medium heat for 3 minutes until golden brown. Drizzle with honey and let caramelize for 2 minutes, then deglaze with apple juice and simmer for 3 minutes. Season with salt and pepper.

Meanwhile cook the whole wheat penne according to package instructions in salted boiling water for 7–8 minutes until firm. Drain and set aside.

In another large pan heat rapeseed oil. Pat the steaks dry and sear them over medium heat for a total of 3–4 minutes, turning once. Season with salt and pepper and serve the beef minute steaks alongside the penne and caramelized parsnips.
