- 1 can kidney beans (400 g)
- 1 green bell pepper
- 1 red bell pepper
- 3 tomatoes
- 2 onions
- 3 jalapeños
- 1 dried red chili pepper
- 4 tbsp olive oil
- 2 tbsp white wine vinegar
- Salt
- ground black pepper

Rinse the beans under a sieve and drain well. Wash the bell peppers, halve them, remove seeds, and cut into 3 cm strips. Wash the tomatoes, quarter them, remove seeds, and dice into 1 cm cubes. Peel the onions and slice into rings.

Wash and trim the chili and jalapeños, then slice into thin rings; grind the chili in a mortar. Whisk the oil with vinegar and season with salt, pepper, and chili. Combine the bell peppers, tomatoes, beans, onions, and jalapeños; arrange in bowls. Drizzle with vinaigrette before serving.
