Crisp-fresh salad meets tender cheese and aromatic herbs: the Basil Salad from Spoonsparrow is a delight.
Ingredients
- 1 cucumber
- 4 tomatoes
- 2 onions
- 200 g feta
- 3 tbsp white wine vinegar
- Salt
- Pepper (freshly ground)
- 6 tbsp Olive oil
- 100 g olives
- Basil
Instructions

Wash, peel and cut the cucumber into small pieces. Wash, peel and slice the tomatoes into wedges. Peel the onions and cut them lengthwise into thin slivers. Crumble the feta cheese.

Whisk vinegar, salt and pepper with a whisk in a small bowl. Gradually fold in the olive oil.

Arrange cucumber, tomato and onion on four plates decoratively. Distribute olives over them. Drizzle the dressing over the salad, sprinkle the crumbled feta on top and garnish with some basil leaves. Serve the Basil Salad with flatbread.
