Basil Pesto

Enjoy the delicious basil pesto from Spoonsparrow with pasta, fresh baguette or as a savory pastry filling.
Ingredients
- 1 bundle of basil leaves
- 1 tablespoon pine nuts
- 2 cloves garlic
- 70 ml Olive oil
- 1 teaspoon sea salt
- 20 g Parmesan cheese
- 20 g young pecorino cheese
- Pepper (from the grinder)
Instructions

Wash basil under cold water and shake dry. Toast pine nuts without fat in a pan. Peel garlic.

Blend basil, pine nuts, garlic and 35 ml oil with an immersion blender or crush finely in a mortar. Gradually add salt, cheeses and remaining oil as needed, seasoning with pepper. Serve with your chosen dish.
