Ingredients
- 0.5 savoy cabbage
- 300 g waxy potatoes
- 150 g pearl barley
- 300 g meat sausage
- 1 onion
- 2 tbsp Vegetable oil
- 800 ml vegetable broth
- Salt
- Pepper (freshly ground)

Clean the savoy cabbage, remove the tough core and cut into fine strips. Peel, wash, and dice the potatoes. Rinse the barley and drain well. Remove the skin from the meat sausage and slice into thin strips. Dice the onion finely.

Heat the oil in a pot and sauté the onion until translucent. Add the sliced sausage, diced potatoes, cabbage strips, and barley; stir briefly before adding the broth. Season with salt and pepper, then simmer over medium heat for about 45 minutes. Taste again and serve hot in pre-warmed soup bowls.
