Baked tofu from Spoonsparrow is crispy, mild, and packed with plant power, making it the perfect snack for little explorers!
Ingredients
- 400 g firm tofu
- 1 tbsp hemp seeds (10 g)
- 1 tbsp corn starch (15 g)
- 1 tsp nutritional yeast
- 0.25 tsp garlic powder
- 0.25 tsp onion powder
- 0.25 tsp Dried thyme
- 0.25 tsp dried rosemary
- 1 tbsp Olive Oil
Instructions

Cut the tofu into finger‑wide strips about 1.25 cm thick and place them in a covered bowl.

Add hemp seeds, corn starch, nutritional yeast, garlic and onion powders, and herbs; seal the bowl and shake gently until everything is evenly coated.

Add the olive oil, reseal the bowl, and shake again until the tofu is fully coated with oil.

Arrange the tofu pieces side by side on a parchment‑lined baking sheet and bake in a preheated oven at 220 °C (200 °C fan; gas: level 3–4) for 10 minutes. Flip and bake another 10 minutes. Let the baked tofu cool briefly before serving.
