Spoonsparrow oat bars are the ideal snack for little sweet lovers and come completely without refined sugar.

Ingredients

  • 300 g unsweetened peaches (canned; drained weight)
  • 120 g tender rolled oats
  • 120 g almond butter (alternatively sunflower seed butter or 1 ripe mashed banana)
  • 1 tbsp ground flaxseed or chia seeds (about 10 g)
  • 0.5 tsp cinnamon

Instructions

  1. 1.

Drain the peaches in a sieve and thoroughly mash them with a fork in a bowl. Add the rolled oats, almond butter, flaxseed or chia seeds, and cinnamon, mixing well until a uniform, thick batter forms.

  2. 2.

Fill the batter into a baking pan (approximately 20 x 20 cm) lined with parchment paper and smooth it out. Bake in a preheated oven at 180 °C (fan 160 °C; gas: level 2–3) for about 20–25 minutes until lightly golden brown.

  3. 3.

Remove from the oven, let cool, then cut the sugar‑free oat bars into baby‑sized strips or squares.
