Ingredients
- 4 pork schnitzels (about 180 g each)
- flour
- butter
- 4 tomatoes
- 200 g Emmental cheese (sliced)
- Salt
- freshly ground black pepper
- 500 g mixed vegetables (peas, carrots, asparagus, etc., from the freezer aisle)

Preheat the oven to 200°C. Lightly pound the pork schnitzels. Rub with salt and pepper and dust lightly with flour. Then sear each side in hot butter for 2-3 minutes until golden. Heat the vegetables in a pot, toss in butter, season with salt and pepper.

Slice the tomatoes. Place the meat on a heat‑proof platter, layering alternating slices of cheese and tomato over it. Sprinkle with freshly ground pepper and bake in the hot oven for several minutes until the cheese turns golden brown. Serve with the vegetables.
