Baked Chinese cabbage from Spoonsparrow is a recipe with fresh ingredients and an ideal low‑carb delight.
Ingredients
- 1 large Chinese cabbage (600 g)
- Salt
- Pepper
- 3 tbsp olive oil
- 1 Organic lemon
- 1 tbsp Apple cider vinegar

Clean and wash the cabbage, cut it lengthwise into quarters, and season with salt and pepper. Heat 1 tbsp olive oil in a skillet over high heat and sear the cabbage on all sides until crisp.

Transfer to an oven‑proof dish and bake in a preheated oven at 180 °C (fan 160 °C; gas: level 2–3) for 10–15 minutes.

Meanwhile, rinse the lemon hot, grate its zest, halve it, and squeeze out the juice. Mix with 2 tbsp olive oil and apple cider vinegar, seasoning with salt and pepper. Remove the baked cabbage from the oven, drizzle with the vinaigrette, and serve as a side dish.
